Manager, Engineering (India)

• Design, develop, and take ownership of software with high quality
• Technically guide an agile team and work collaboratively
• Participate in a full development life cycle including planning and code reviews
• Build solutions that can easily scale to the demands of Vimeo traffic bursts
• Ensure the best technical design and approach with an aim for continuous improvement and following industry best practices
• Mentor teammates and set high technical standards
• Work closely with Design, Product, and Analytics teams to move projects from conception to launch
• A/B test new features and release improvements iteratively

• B-Tech / MTech in Computer science or equivalent degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in any backend technologies like PHP/ Java/ Node.JS
• Very good in Algorithms, Data structures, and Time Complexities
• Minimum 4 years of web development experience with Next/React/ Angular
• Very Good Database Knowledge (MySQL, Oracle, Redis, Memcache, etc)
• Hands-on with Design, Coding, Debugging and Testing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must have OOPS and Design patterns.
• Good understanding of cloud technologies.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.

• Minimum 4 years of web development experience with Next/React/ Angular
