About the position
Vimeo is seeking an experienced Director, Account Management to focus on growing their Enterprise customer base. This role involves managing teams responsible for renewals and upselling within the top-tier customer portfolio. The Director will be responsible for developing strategies and programs to drive revenue growth and implementing best practices for sales pursuits in the Enterprise verticals. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the buying process for larger organizations and possess extensive experience in account-based selling and management.
- Manage a combination of senior account managers and account directors in both the Corporate and Strategic customer segmentations.
- Define a strategy focused on revenue growth within the account base.
- Approve and assist in pursuit plans for different divisions and entities within a global organization.
- Proactively manage opportunity pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly objectives.
- Communicate with and present to C-level executives, confidently conveying Vimeo's value proposition.
- Collaborate with Marketing on account-based marketing initiatives.
- Provide guidance and direction to an experienced team of Sales reps and Account Managers.
- Expand accounts and exceed quotas.
- Have thorough working knowledge of sales tools, including Gong and Salesforce.
- 10+ years of account-based selling in the SaaS space
- 10+ years of account management experience
- Online Video experience not required, but beneficial to the role
- Experience carrying a multi-million dollar book of business or new business quota
- Capacity to provide guidance and direction to an experienced team of Sales reps and Account Managers
- Knowledge of video initiatives related to corporate communications
- Demonstrable and proven experience expanding accounts
- Track record of exceeding quotas
- Thorough working knowledge of sales tools, including Gong and Salesforce
