About The Position

Ensures that milestones and program requirements are completed according to the company schedule, with a strong emphasis on the development, coordination, and execution of cross-functional projects. The role interfaces with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other organizations to ensure company milestones are completed according to program requirements and schedule. The position is accountable for overall program schedule success, execution of agreed program goals and objectives, and coordination across Integrated Product Teams and functional leaders. It makes key program decisions that balance cost and schedule within defined thresholds and identifies and resolves risks, issues, and opportunities, escalating items to leadership when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or an aviation-related technical field from a four-year college or university.
• 15 years of working experience.
• Working experience in airplane development.
• Project Management Certification (PMP or similar).

Nice To Haves

• Program Management Certification (PgMP).

• Manage the overall program schedule and ensure milestones and requirements are completed according to the company schedule.
• Execute agreed program goals and objectives, including cost, schedule, and weight.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Integrated Product Teams and functional leaders.
• Interface with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other organizations.
• Make key program decisions that balance cost and schedule within defined thresholds.
• Identify and resolve risks, issues, and opportunities, escalating items to leadership when needed.
• Manage schedule performance, cost, and risk.
