About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Lifecycle Marketing Manager for our core Kids products. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing lifecycle campaigns across email and mobile channels. Your main focus will be on effectively communicating with customers, ensuring the right message is delivered at the right time. You will also play a key role in scaling retention programs and overseeing the customer journey from prospecting to renewal. This is a cross-functional role that requires collaboration with the entire marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Play a strategic role in ensuring the needs of the customer are met throughout the customer journey
- Create and refine engagement programs to enhance the customer experience
- Develop messaging to increase subscription growth and engagement on product features
- Manage the setup, testing, and execution of email, push, and mobile campaigns
- Make recommendations for the appropriate communication channel for different goals
- Assist in structuring AB testing initiatives and lead creative testing
- Own campaign setup, customer segmentation, and quality assurance
- Identify new customer communication channels and collaborate with Prod & Eng to build third-party applications
- Manage monthly reporting on messaging
- Solve problems and work entrepreneurially to achieve desired outcomes
- Utilize tools and technology to increase customer lifetime value
- Collaborate with creative teams and have experience with ESPs and Engagement Platforms
- Familiarity with consumer tech product and subscription businesses is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to think quickly, adapt to change, and manage competing priorities and deadlines
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing role
- Comfortable diving into new tools and tech and figuring out how best to utilize them to increase LTV
- Experience working with creative teams (copy, design, product design)
- Direct experience working in various ESPs & Engagement Platforms (Iterable, Braze, Airship, Mandrill preferred) and Customer Data Platforms
- Experience and familiarity with consumer tech product and subscription businesses is a plus
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Flexible and adaptable
- Familiar with the dynamics of a fast-paced (and fast-growing) company, and the importance of clear communication
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Excellent project management skills, ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to think quickly on your feet, adapt to a highly variable environment, change scope and focus with ease
