About The Position

CONAM Management is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Professional for Oakland Station in Oakland, California. The role supports the apartment community’s leasing goals, occupancy, resident satisfaction, and retention. The position handles day-to-day leasing operations, including property tours, application processing, lease execution, and renewal strategies. This is a full-time position with full benefits. The pay range is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. The position requires weekend availability and the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, employment verification, and drug screening.

Requirements

At least 1–2 years of customer service experience, ideally in sales or property leasing/property management.
Goal-oriented and passionate about helping people find an apartment home.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Comfortable learning or experienced with Yardi, MRI, or other leasing and property management systems.
Friendly, energetic, and approachable personality.
Available to work weekends.
Physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Promote the apartment community, conduct property tours, and implement outreach campaigns to drive traffic.
Manage online listings and social media to increase the community’s visibility.
Facilitate applicant screenings, prepare leases, and coordinate smooth move-ins.
Maintain accurate lease documentation.
Build relationships with residents, address concerns, encourage renewals, and implement retention strategies.
Convert leads into leases, meet leasing goals, and generate prospects through events and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting.
Support the Community Manager with lease renewals, resident files, and regulatory compliance.
