About The Position

Leasing Professionals serve as brand ambassadors for their communities, connecting prospective residents with apartment homes. The role is suited to energetic, compassionate individuals with sales expertise and a passion for building relationships. The Leasing Professional manages the leasing process from initial contact through move-in, works toward leasing and conversion goals, maintains leasing paperwork and quality standards, and supports community outreach and engagement. Weekend availability and reliable transportation for outreach are required.

Requirements

• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals and sales targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency using the internet for marketing, advertising, and sales-related purposes.
• Ability to demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive professional culture.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation for outreach.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish.
• Experience with Yardi products.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and build positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendors.
• Manage the leasing process from first point of contact through move-in.
• Follow up with prospective residents who do not rent on their first visit.
• Meet or exceed traffic, application, move-in, wait list, and conversion ratio goals.
• Complete leasing paperwork and processes according to internal quality control processes.
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality.
• Conduct new resident move-in orientations.
• Conduct outreach marketing.
• Contribute to community and company engagement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
