About The Position

The Leasing & Marketing Manager leads leasing and marketing activities at a student housing community. The role focuses on welcoming and assisting prospective residents, delivering property tours, meeting preleasing and occupancy goals, processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and providing high-quality resident service. The manager plans resident events, coaches Leasing & Marketing Assistants, collaborates with a social media intern, and supports marketing initiatives that promote occupancy and retention. The position also includes maintaining the tour route and curbside appeal, communicating with leadership, participating in company training, and assisting with other duties and special projects. Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.

Requirements

2–3 years of sales and customer service experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Exceptional communication skills and a warm, professional, approachable demeanor.
Basic computer skills, including typing and writing correspondence and memos.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A can-do attitude and willingness to work outside the job description.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Leasing experience.
Previous experience as a Leasing Agent, Leasing Manager, Leasing Professional, or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Welcome prospective residents, qualify their needs, conduct property tours, and help close leases.
Use professional leasing techniques, including feature-and-benefit selling, to meet preleasing and occupancy goals.
Answer calls from prospective residents, current residents, and internal team members professionally and efficiently.
Process and verify lease applications and communicate results to applicants promptly.
Maintain accurate client records and update daily activity reports, notices to vacate, vacancy reports, and other documents.
Provide concierge-level assistance to residents with day-to-day tasks.
Plan and execute resident events that reflect the property's brand and community commitments.
Lead and coach Leasing & Marketing Assistants on sales and leasing strategies.
Collaborate with the social media intern to coordinate leasing and marketing goals and messaging.
Collaborate on marketing initiatives, community events, and campaigns supporting occupancy and retention.
Maintain a pristine, appealing, on-brand tour route and monitor curbside appeal.
Contribute to team efforts to streamline processes and achieve shared goals.
Participate in LV Collective training programs.
Communicate regularly with leadership to address roadblocks, share updates, and strategize for leasing success.
Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.
