About The Position
The Leasing Manager leads the property's leasing operations and drives the team toward achieving occupancy and revenue goals. This role oversees the full leasing process, manages marketing and outreach strategies, and ensures prospective and current residents receive outstanding service while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations. The position is based at The Phoenix Sacramento and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour, with leasing commissions of $50 per move-in and a quarterly performance-based bonus incentive. A 20% rental housing discount is offered to employees who live on site.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–3 years of property management or leasing experience required.
- Proven track record in sales and leasing performance required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and develop the Leasing Team, including monitoring performance on lead management and follow-up standards.
- Conduct leasing activities by phone, online, and through in-person tours, matching prospects with appropriate apartment homes.
- Oversee the property's social media presence, digital marketing efforts, and outreach to local universities and student organizations.
- Perform regular audits of lease files and review marketing channels, pricing, and property management software for accuracy.
- Analyze market demographics, conduct weekly market surveys, and collaborate with the Property Manager on the property's marketing plan.
