About The Position

RHM Real Estate Group is hiring a Leasing Agent for its multifamily apartment community in Columbus, Ohio. The role is accountable for leasing, marketing, and relationship-building, and provides leasing services to the community. It offers opportunities to develop skills in prospect marketing, resident services, and apartment leasing operations. The position is full-time and based at an on-site management office at one location. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
High school diploma or GED.
Willingness to achieve Fair Housing certification before interacting with prospects or residents.
Competence using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
U.S. work authorization required for employment.
Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience in a property leasing position.
Competence using Yardi software.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify prospects by covering all criteria, asking questions, and using digital guest cards.
Follow up with prospects who did not lease and refer them to sister properties as appropriate.
Immediately record all telephone and in-person visits in Yardi.
Inspect model and market-ready apartments to ensure they are neat, clean, and ready for resident move-ins.
Manage resident files, conduct daily inspections, distribute correspondence to residents, and perform other administrative functions.
Conduct neighborhood marketing outreach, advise residents of referral concessions, and distribute newsletters, pamphlets, and flyers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
