About The Position

Aikido is seeking a hands-on Field Marketing Manager to build its presence across developer and security communities. The role drives pipeline and awareness through events, community engagement, and regional campaigns. The manager works closely with sales, partnerships, and marketing to connect Aikido with developers, security leaders, and startup teams. It involves owning events end to end, building relationships in local tech ecosystems, and converting community engagement into pipeline.

Requirements

4–7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or community marketing.
Experience supporting B2B SaaS, developer tools, or cybersecurity products.
Comfortable running events from concept through execution.
Strong collaboration with sales teams and experience with pipeline-driven marketing programs.
Experience managing conferences, meetups, and regional marketing programs.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in developer tooling, DevOps, or cybersecurity.
Existing relationships in the Bay Area startup or developer community.
Experience running events for technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Own and run regional events, including meetups, dinners, and major industry conferences.
Turn events into qualified pipeline in collaboration with Sales.
Build Aikido’s presence in developer, startup, and security communities.
Partner with Sales and Partnerships on ABM, partner events, and target accounts.
Manage event execution end to end, including logistics, speakers, content, follow-up, and performance.
Bring Aikido’s no-BS security voice to the field and turn events into brand moments.
