About The Position

The Kitchen Cashier provides customer service and handles cash in a retail store environment. The role models the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values. The position includes taking food orders in person and by telephone, supporting cooks with specific dishes, restocking front-counter supplies, and following transaction procedures. The employee is expected to maintain quality, cleanliness, organization, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store-condition, and food-safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to walk continuously throughout the shift while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
• Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

• Customer service and retail experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers throughout interactions.
• Improve the speed and efficiency of service.
• Assist cooks with making specific dishes.
• Fill and restock front-counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks.
• Follow procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellations, and saved recall transactions.
• Maintain personal cashier productivity.
• Take food orders in person and by telephone.
• Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
