About The Position

The Intern, Ticket Sales is a full-time seasonal sales position with the Tulsa Drillers. The role supports ticket sales, game-day operations, customer and client services, deliveries, promotions, and special projects. The position follows a fluctuating workweek compensation arrangement: $475 per week for up to 40 hours worked, with an hourly rate of $11.87 and an additional half-time rate for each hour worked beyond 40 in a workweek. Weeks with fewer than 40 hours are paid as 40 hours. Commissionable sales are paid monthly through the DBH Ticketing Incentive Plan. The schedule is 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on non-game days and 10:00 a.m.–approximately 10:00 p.m. on game days. The organization offers sales and customer-service training, professional development, and opportunities to grow within the organization, along with season comp days, vacation and sick days, team-provided logo apparel, game-day meals, a workstation with a computer and phone, and a staff parking pass in a gated lot.

Responsibilities

Sell season seat membership plans.
Sell partial and mini-season seat membership plans, including 35-, 21-, 14-, and 7-game plans and Flex Plans.
Sell group outings and tickets.
Sell group hospitality decks, picnics, and other food and beverage packages.
Sell game-day party suites.
Support game-day box office operations.
Support promotions and customer service.
Provide client services.
Handle ticket and other deliveries.
Participate in special projects, special events, and community service projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
