A-MAX Insurance is hiring an in-office Insurance Sales Agent in Dallas, Texas. The role serves customers seeking insurance by helping them understand and select policies suited to their needs and budgets. The ideal candidate has a strong sales mentality, is motivated to succeed, and brings organizational, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. A-MAX provides intensive paid training, licensing assistance, and ongoing career support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong sales mentality, desire to succeed, organizational and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer focus.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision and quickly learn company or proprietary software.
• Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with TDI.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service or insurance sales experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills.
• A valid, current Texas Limited Lines or Property & Casualty license.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs, including new policies, policy changes, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and answering questions.
• Inspect vehicles and assess their general condition, age, and other characteristics to determine whether they are acceptable insurance risks.
• Seek new clients, generate prospective-client lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
• Work with the office manager to develop marketing strategies to attract customers.
• Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
• Complete continuing education courses required to maintain an active license with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI).
