About The Position
ALPA Insurance is hiring a bilingual Insurance Sales Agent for an in-office position in South Buckner, Dallas, Texas. The role serves customers with insurance needs, supports policy administration, and develops new business through networking and marketing. The ideal candidate has a strong sales mentality, a desire to succeed, good organizational and interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused approach. ALPA provides intensive paid training, licensing assistance, and ongoing career support.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision and quickly learn company or proprietary software.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service or insurance sales experience.
- Bilingual Spanish/English ability.
- A current, valid Texas Limited Lines or Property & Casualty license.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with new insurance policies, changes to existing policies, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and questions.
- Inspect vehicles and assess their general condition, age, and other characteristics to determine whether they are acceptable insurance risks.
- Seek new clients, generate lists of prospective clients, and build a clientele through networking and marketing.
- Develop marketing strategies with the office manager to attract new customers.
- Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
- Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
- Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with TDI.
