About The Position
A-MAX Insurance is hiring an in-office Insurance Sales Agent in El Paso, Texas. The role assists customers with insurance needs, including new policies, policy changes, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and questions. It also involves inspecting vehicles to assess insurance risk, generating prospective clients through networking and marketing, coordinating marketing strategies with the office manager, and completing administrative and policy-related work. The position includes daily housekeeping routines. The ideal candidate has a strong sales mentality, a customer-focused approach, and good organizational and interpersonal skills. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision and quickly learn company or proprietary software.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service or insurance sales experience.
- Bilingual Spanish and English.
- A valid, current Texas Limited Lines or Property & Casualty license.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with new insurance policies, edits to existing policies, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and questions.
- Inspect vehicles and evaluate their general condition, age, and other characteristics to determine whether they are an acceptable insurance risk.
- Seek out new clients, generate prospective-client lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
- Work with the office manager to develop marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
- Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
- Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with the Texas Department of Insurance.
