About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Jackson, Michigan, to build and manage an agency serving educators. The role focuses on identifying and implementing solutions that help educators obtain affordable insurance and financial security. The agent develops market access and relationships, presents products to groups and individuals, and participates in networking, community, and industry events. Success requires investing time and resources in the long-term growth of the business.

Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation and an incentive package during the first 48 months, including activity- and success-based incentives and quarterly production incentives. Agents receive a dedicated Premier Service Representative for client service work, an exclusive niche market, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage an agency.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
