About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Monroe, Michigan, to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop relationships and market access, present products to groups and individuals, and participate in networking and community events. The role includes a multiline product portfolio, technology, training, market-development programs, and a dedicated Premier Service Representative to handle client service work. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with activity- and success-based incentives during the first 48 months and quarterly production incentives during that period.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
