About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators in a defined, exclusive territory. The agent helps educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security by developing relationships, presenting products, and growing market access. Horace Mann provides a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
