About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role focuses on developing market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and growing a business within an exclusive, defined territory.

Horace Mann offers a multiline product portfolio, a dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work, technology and ongoing training, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with activity- and success-based incentives and quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
