About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators in a defined territory. The agent will identify and present insurance and financial solutions, develop market access and client relationships, and grow a network through community and industry engagement. Horace Mann offers an exclusive niche and territory, a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with incentives during the first 48 months.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
