About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to build and manage an agency serving educators in a defined territory in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The agency owner will offer insurance and financial solutions to educators, develop market access and relationships, present products to groups and individuals, and invest time and resources in the long-term success of the business. The role offers an exclusive niche and territory, a dedicated Service Representative for client service work, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based on a 1099 basis, with incentives tied to activity and success during the first 48 months and quarterly production incentives during that period.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
