About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Woburn, Massachusetts. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves developing market access and client relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and participating in networking, community, and industry events. Horace Mann provides an exclusive territory, a multiline product portfolio, technology, training, market and relationship-building programs, and a Dedicated Service Representative. No external office is required for the first two years. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement and includes incentives during the first 48 months.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
