About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Agent in Charlton, Massachusetts. The role offers insurance professionals an opportunity to build an agency and serve educators, supported by collaboration, mentorship, technology, continued training, a dedicated Premier Service Representative, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with activity-based and quarterly production incentives during the initial 48 months. Success in the role depends on helping educators achieve financial prosperity, developing market access and strong relationships, confidently presenting product information to individuals and groups, participating in networking and community, sales, and industry events, and devoting the time and resources needed to build a successful business.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and business management skills while building an agency.
- Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses, including Life and Health Insurance and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
- Obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses if applicable in certain regions.
