About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Exclusive Insurance Agent to serve educators in an exclusive territory in Woburn, Massachusetts. The agent will build and manage an insurance agency, develop client and community relationships, and help educators find affordable insurance solutions and financial security. The position offers performance-based 1099 compensation and resources intended to support business growth, including a dedicated Service Representative, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
