Insurance Agent - Holyoke, MA
About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Agent to build and operate an agency serving educators in the Holyoke, Massachusetts area. The role focuses on helping educators achieve financial prosperity by understanding their needs, providing product information, developing client relationships, and building access to the target market. Agents are independent contractors compensated through a performance-based 1099 arrangement, with incentives available during the initial 48 months. Horace Mann provides a multiline product portfolio, technology, ongoing training, market and relationship-building programs, and a dedicated Premier Service Representative to assist with client service work.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills while building an agency.
- Resident-state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses if applicable in certain regions.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
