About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Worcester, Massachusetts. The agent will operate an agency with an exclusive niche and defined territory, helping educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role involves building relationships and market access, presenting insurance products to groups and individuals, and networking in the community and industry. A Dedicated Service Representative handles client service work so the agent can focus on growing the business. Horace Mann provides technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with incentives during the first 48 months.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong business management skills.
- Resident-state General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
