About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to build and manage an insurance agency serving educators in a defined territory in Worcester, Massachusetts. The agent will identify insurance and financial solutions that help educators achieve affordability and financial security, develop relationships and market access, and present products to groups and individuals. The role includes business-building support such as a dedicated Service Representative, technology, training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. Compensation is performance-based and designated as 1099, with incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Life and Health Insurance License.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
