About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop relationships and market access, and confidently present insurance products to individuals and groups. The role offers an exclusive territory, a multiline product portfolio, technology and training, market and relationship-building programs, and a dedicated Service Representative to handle client service work. An external office is not required for the first two years. Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement and includes incentives during the first 48 months.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
