About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Insurance Agent in Roanoke, Virginia. The role supports educators through insurance and financial services and offers agents a collaborative, mentorship-oriented environment focused on personal and professional growth. Horace Mann provides performance-based 1099 compensation with a 48-month incentive package, activity-based earning incentives, quarterly production incentives during the first 48 months, a dedicated Premier Service Representative for client service work, a niche market, technology and continued training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills while building an agency.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses, including Life and Health and Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63, if applicable in certain regions.
