About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and access to products designed for educators. The role offers a performance-based 1099 compensation structure, including a 36-month incentive plan, enhanced commissions, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Producers can leverage established books of business while building their own practice, connect with prospective clients through value-added services and community events, and offer a comprehensive multi-line product portfolio. Work may be in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides guidance and support.

Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
