About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The agent will build and manage an agency, develop market access and strong relationships, present products to groups and individuals, and engage in networking, community, and industry events. The role requires investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business.

Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, a dedicated Service Representative, an exclusive territory, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
