About The Position
American Family Insurance is seeking a highly motivated Insurance Agent in Lafayette, Indiana, with a demonstrated track record of success and a strong work ethic. Agents operate as independent contractors and exclusively represent American Family and its products. The role offers an opportunity to build and own an agency while helping customers protect their financial stability and achieve their goals. The agent is responsible for the agency’s overall management, sales, and growth; hiring a team; and working with that team to meet strategic business goals set for the agency. American Family offers training and support from a local team in areas including marketing, prospecting, and business consultation. Compensation potential is unlimited and includes a New Agency Owner Incentive Program.
Requirements
- Obtain Property and Casualty insurance licenses.
- Obtain Life insurance licenses.
- Pass a motor vehicle background check.
- Pass a financial/credit background check.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, motivation, and commitment to building a business.
