About The Position
Farmers Insurance agencies in the Thousand Oaks area are seeking ambitious, goal-driven individuals for an Insurance Agent in Training program. The role is designed to prepare candidates for a future as a licensed Insurance Agent through structured training, mentorship, and professional development. Trainees learn to generate new business, match clients with tailored insurance solutions, build client relationships, work toward sales goals, and develop knowledge of insurance products, services, and compliance requirements. Requirements
- At least one year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfort with making outbound calls and conducting sales conversations.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and apply coaching.
- Willingness to obtain required licensing if not already licensed.
Nice To Haves
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license.
- Bilingual skills.
