About The Position
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to build and manage an agency serving educators in a defined territory. The agent will identify insurance and financial solutions that support educators’ affordability and financial security, develop market access and client relationships, present products to groups and individuals, and invest time and resources in the long-term success of the business. The role offers an exclusive niche and territory, performance-based 1099 compensation, incentives during the first 48 months, a dedicated Service Representative, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage an agency.
- Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
- Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
