About the position
We are seeking a versatile leader to manage a multidisciplinary team focused on commercialization strategy, go-to-market planning, and content partnerships for Realtor.com. The ideal candidate has experience in GTM strategy, B2B commercialization, and complex negotiations with external partners. They should be skilled at translating user insights into revenue opportunities and have executive-level competence in presenting new ideas. The role involves coaching and developing a team, driving GTM strategy, collaborating with stakeholders, managing content partnerships, and evaluating business impact. The candidate should have 15+ years of related work experience and be a strategic thinker with exceptional judgment.
Responsibilities
- Coach and develop the careers of a team of exceptional Product Marketers & Content Partner Strategists
- Become an expert on http://realtor.com audience segmentation, understanding user wants and needs across verticals
- Drive GTM strategy and planning: coaching/ empowering the team to define launch objectives, key success metrics, consumer segmentation, and hard-hitting product positioning and messaging
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to drive launch strategy and alignment from concept creation to product release (and often beyond!)
- Manage and develop the team responsible for sourcing content/data partnerships and integrating 3rd party content into the RDC user experience
- Build a deep understanding of MLSs, tools, technology and customer pain points
- Identify, negotiate and secure strategic content partnerships that align with RDC consumer positioning
- Work alongside analytics and finance to evaluate business impact of strategic initiatives
- Define research priorities and validate hypotheses to help inform product strategy (with support from the http://realtor.com Insights team)
- Identify and monitor key market, consumer and competitive trends
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 15+ years of related work experience
- MBA preferred, but not required
- Experience in the tech, media or content-creation industries, preferably in product marketing, strategy, partnerships and/or business development roles
- Strategic thinker and creative problem solver
- Ability to transform business goals into actionable product plans
- Exceptional judgment and ability to determine solutions based on limited data
- Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize well
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at an executive level
- Consistent track record of delivery
