About the position
The job overview for the Head of Marketing and Communications role at KONUX is to lead and own the overall marketing and communication strategy, drive brand awareness and differentiation in the sustainable mobility sector, and accelerate the sales cycle for strategic accounts globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting goals and ensuring impactful delivery of key initiatives across various marketing functions, building relationships with media outlets and investors, leading and developing the marketing team, and collaborating cross-functionally with revenue and product teams. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, and/or strategy consulting, strong leadership skills, fluency in English (German is desirable), and experience in driving adoption and growth of new products.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the overall Marketing and Communication strategy
- Accelerate the sales cycle for strategic accounts globally
- Build long-term brand awareness and differentiation in the sustainable mobility sector
- Set goals and ensure impactful delivery of key initiatives across Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Field Marketing, and PR
- Build relationships with media outlets, reporters, influencers, technology analysts, and investors
- Expand the reach and relevance of the KONUX brand
- Lead the marketing team and empower and challenge team members
- Set priorities, guide decisions, and inspire and develop team members
- Work closely with executive leadership to select and prepare for key events or media engagements
- Craft the narrative, prepare briefings, etc.
- Work closely with revenue and product teams
- Provide input to strategic account plans and product roadmap
- Have 10+ years of work experience in Product Marketing, Marketing, and/or Strategy Consulting
- Experience in a leadership role that includes guiding, mentoring, and developing a team
- Fluent in English, German is desirable
- Experience working with concepts and technologies behind Big Data analytics, SaaS, predictive analytics, and predictive maintenance
- Track record of driving adoption, growth, and retention of new products
- Superb interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships successfully across teams
- Experience in pre-IPO communications would be nice to have
