The Head of Growth & Marketing is accountable for DTC revenue and contribution margin, while ensuring marketing supports the broader company. The position is remote-friendly across the U.S., with hybrid co-working options in Bozeman, Montana; San Rafael, California; or Golden, Colorado. It involves two team retreat/collaboration trips per year and two to three additional business trips per year as needed.

  • Lead paid growth strategy, conduct risk analysis, make go/no-go decisions on paid and marketplace spend, and use incrementality testing to guide investment.
  • Direct the in-house creative team and creative vendors, and build the creative testing program and creator/UGC pipeline to support paid performance.
  • Set direction for social, PR, affiliates, and brand partnerships to grow organic reach and demand.
  • Set email and SMS strategy, calendar, and LTV goals, and own repeat-purchase and LTV targets using in-house and partner resources.
  • Plan go-to-market activity, launches, and promotions around product availability and wholesale and corporate timelines; own the promotional calendar and translate founders’ brand direction into channel execution.
  • Ensure marketing content supports wholesale and corporate custom teams and coordinate paid marketing where DTC and B2B overlap, including corporate gifting.
  • Make company-wide decisions when channels compete for product, creative, or spend.
  • Own analytics and the marketing technology stack, ensure tracking and reporting are reliable, decide what systems to keep or retire, and direct technical resources.
