Growth Marketing Manager, SEO & Content
About The Position
Join Jobscan as our Growth Marketing Manager, SEO & Content and help drive meaningful revenue growth while empowering job seekers to land their dream roles. Organic search and content are core engines of our growth strategy, and you will own high-impact initiatives end to end. This is a hands-on craft role for someone who loves executing in the weeds with sharp judgment, high AI fluency, and an unwavering quality bar—not a passive management seat. You will take strategic direction for target pages and run them as an operator: executing content refreshes, on-page SEO, internal linking architecture, CRO refinements, and net-new page builds. Partnering directly with marketing leadership, you will elevate team standards and turn organic search into a precise, high-converting, and scalable growth machine.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of growth marketing experience, ideally at a B2C product or content-heavy site (B2C SaaS experience nice-to-have, not required)
- Strong content creation and editing skills — both writing and overseeing quality
- Hands-on SEO practitioner: on-page optimization, internal linking, keyword targeting, search intent mapping, cannibalization awareness, content scope/topic assignment
- Comfortable working directly in WordPress (publishing, editing, template work, custom blocks)
- CRO instinct — can review a page and identify conversion opportunities, run experiments, iterate
- Strong AI/LLM fluency: uses Claude / ChatGPT / Cursor or similar tools in daily workflow to compress production time without sacrificing quality
- Familiar with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs (or SEMrush), and ideally one product/CRO tool (PostHog, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or VWO)
- Self-directed and high-judgment — can take a target (page, keyword, opportunity) and run with it without needing daily oversight
- High-quality bar — comfortable elevating content and design standards across the site
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the Head of Marketing to design and execute a revenue-focused content marketing plan.
- Drive hands-on SEO execution across target pages, optimizing on-page elements, internal linking architecture, and content scope based on specific page opportunities.
- Write and edit compelling content across our blog, conversion landing pages, and programmatic assets to capture organic demand.
- Pioneer AI-augmented production workflows using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor to accelerate execution velocity while maintaining a top-tier quality bar.
- Partner with subject-matter experts to create authoritative thought leadership assets, case studies, and editorial campaigns.
- Manage the editorial calendar and oversee external content writers to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across all projects.
- Update, refine, and test website copy in lockstep with design and engineering partners to optimize candidate conversion rates (CRO).
- Monitor content and campaign performance metrics, turning real-time analytics into actionable strategy updates.
