About The Position

Waabi is seeking a hands-on Growth and Demand Marketing Manager to build and operate its demand-generation engine. This generalist role on a small team combines lifecycle strategy and execution, campaign development, content creation, and direct prospecting to generate qualified sales opportunities. The manager will collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager, Event Marketing Manager, and Director of Product Marketing while owning work end-to-end. The position has a stated path to leading a broader growth and demand-generation function as the company scales. The role focuses on lifecycle programs, email nurture, lead generation, lower-funnel digital campaigns, account-based marketing, and thought leadership for senior technology decision makers in logistics. The manager will personally spend roughly 20% of their time prospecting and qualifying prospects, track and optimize customer acquisition cost by channel and campaign, and work toward measurable pipeline contribution. Success in the first 6–12 months includes establishing a repeatable lifecycle engine, contributing qualified opportunities through personal outbound prospecting, improving spend based on CAC data, and demonstrating pipeline impact from digital, ABM, and content efforts.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing; ideally at a small or early-stage company.
  • A track record of building and optimizing lead-generation and lifecycle programs, including email nurture campaigns, from strategy through execution.
  • Comfort and success with hands-on outbound prospecting alongside strategic marketing work.
  • Experience measuring and optimizing customer acquisition cost or similar funnel metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to pull and interpret campaign, funnel, and CAC data to drive decisions.
  • Excel or Sheets skills are required.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to independently produce thought leadership content, including white papers and webinars, and email copy.
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI tools in a marketing workflow.
  • Ability to work self-directed and resourcefully without a large team, including willingness to do unglamorous work.
  • Open-minded, collaborative team player willing to help others.
  • Passion for self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to senior technology decision makers in logistics, supply chain, or adjacent industrial or B2B sectors.
  • Experience running account-based marketing programs targeting named accounts.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with product marketing, digital marketing, and events peers.
  • Familiarity with a modern marketing and sales stack, particularly HubSpot and Aurasell, Waabi’s CRM.
  • Experience at a company of similar size or stage.
  • Prior SDR or sales development experience.
  • SQL or BI tool experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing programs, including nurture tracks and email campaigns, to guide senior logistics technology decision makers through awareness, consideration, and conversion.
  • Generate marketing qualified leads that convert into sales opportunities and customer acquisition.
  • Spend roughly 20% of time proactively prospecting and qualifying senior logistics-technology decision makers, then hand sales-ready opportunities to the sales team.
  • Track customer acquisition cost by channel and campaign and use the data to refine messaging, targeting, and channel mix.
  • Own lower-funnel digital campaigns, including paid search, paid social, and retargeting, as well as account-based marketing programs targeting named accounts.
  • Partner with the Brand Marketing Manager, Event Marketing Manager, and Director of Product Marketing to plan and deploy integrated campaigns, including email and nurture programs.
  • Build and manage segmented email nurture campaigns that keep messaging relevant to each prospect’s buying journey.
  • Write white papers, host webinars, and produce other thought leadership content for senior logistics technology buyers, using AI tools to accelerate production where useful.
  • Build and optimize repeatable lifecycle, lower-funnel, and ABM programs and establish measurable pipeline contribution.
  • Publish thought leadership content with attributable pipeline impact and use CAC tracking to direct spend toward effective channels.

  • Unlimited vacation.
  • Flexible hours and work-from-home support.
  • Daily drinks, snacks, and catered meals when in the office.
