About the position
The job overview for this role is that Snyk is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join their team and support their growing Global Total Rewards function. The analyst will provide global market intelligence insights, contribute expertise to compensation projects, and provide analysis and recommendations on programs and practices that support the Total Rewards strategy. They will also be responsible for compensation administration, including benchmarking, cost analysis, and providing guidance on pay decisions. Additionally, the analyst will provide operational support to the People teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide global market intelligence insights and contribute expertise to compensation projects
- Analyze and forecast the cost of compensation and other monetary-based reward programs
- Provide compensation analysis and guidance to help make informed pay decisions
- Review new hire offers and proposed salary increases and provide feedback
- Work with People Technology & Operations to ensure the Workday system meets Total Rewards needs
- Support the annual and mid-year compensation planning process
- Create and update job profiles and maintain job descriptions in Workday
- Use technology to increase efficiencies and make process improvement recommendations
- Assist in supporting the tactical and transactional backbone of the People teams
- Conduct audits of HRIS, payroll, and compensation data
- Maintain resources to ensure they remain current and useful
- Perform service functions by answering requests and questions via email, phone, and ticketing system
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional work experience, with at least 2-3 years in a compensation role
- Knowledge and understanding of compensation packages in the Tech industry
- Familiarity with compensation surveys such as Radford
- Experience with Workday
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize SaaS and web-based technology
- Excellent communication skills
- CCP certification (desirable)
