About the position
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and driven individual to join our IT organization as an IT Business Partner. This role will support Snyk's People Team during a period of hyper-growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in People business processes and systems, as well as experience partnering across multiple teams within an organization. The main responsibilities include identifying and implementing technology solutions for process efficiency, collaborating on project prioritization, providing ongoing support for People systems, and leading change management initiatives. A bachelor's degree in a Technology related field or related work experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders across Snyk's People Team to understand current business processes and automation requirements around Human Capital Management, Learning Management Systems, and Employee Enablement
- Identify and implement technology solutions for process efficiency, automation, and scale
- Collaborate on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company
- Provide ongoing day-to-day support of the People systems and integrations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and IT management to develop annual budgets and establish prioritized roadmaps based on business needs and desired outcomes
- Act as the key liaison between primary work streams, the IT department, system integrator, and other outside vendors
- Evaluate proposals, review and augment business cases, and determine how they fit into the global business and IT strategy
- Lead change management initiatives to minimize disruption to the business and improve end-user experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Technology related field or related work experience
- 6+ years of experience supporting HR applications
- A user-focused mindset and enjoy building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the company
- A thorough understanding of processes across people team work streams and an understanding of best practices
- Effective listening and communication skills in both formal and informal situations
- Experience collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and managing shifting priorities in a dynamic team environment
- Detail-oriented and critical thinker with problem-solving skills
