Data Engineer - Insights

We are seeking a passionate Data Engineer to join our team at Snyk and contribute to the development of our next-generation data product, Insights. This role will involve building a comprehensive view of applications by integrating various data sources and enabling the identification and prioritization of vulnerabilities. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of secure application development and make a significant impact. Experience with data-driven systems and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Snowflake, and Postgres is required, along with a strong background in maintaining data quality and performance.

• Actively contribute code, build critical systems, and shape the product
• Work with team members to transform Snyk's data and infrastructure into a scalable, near-real time data ecosystem
• Collaborate across Snyk to identify and utilize new data sources to create high-confidence data sets for accurate results
• Work with other teams to build new product experiences powered by Insight's graph
• Have experience contributing to data-driven systems using technologies like Apache Kafka, Snowflake, Postgres, Object Storage, and DBT
• Have experience with statically typed programming languages like Go or TypeScript
• Maintain data quality, reliability, and performance SLOs across multi-stage pipelines

• Experience contributing to data-driven systems and evolving them to support enterprise scale using technologies like Apache Kafka, Snowflake, Postgres, Object Storage, and DBT
• Experience with your favorite statically typed programming language (such as Go, TypeScript, or similar)
• Experience maintaining data quality, reliability, and performance SLOs across multi-stage pipelines
