About The Position

The Food & Beverage Attendant prepares, presents, and maintains the hotel’s complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception to provide a positive guest experience. The role keeps buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment clean, stocked, and guest-ready; assists with light food preparation, restocking, bussing tables, and supporting bar or service areas; and helps keep service running smoothly as part of a team. The attendant follows food safety, sanitation, safety, security, and company policies; monitors food quality, storage, and temperature standards; responds professionally to guest questions or concerns; and communicates important updates during shift changes. The position is part-time at the Albuquerque Embassy Suites in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Compensation is listed as $14.00, with actual pay potentially varying based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Requirements

• A great attitude and ability to work as part of a team; no prior experience is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds during a shift.
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications, or willingness to obtain them within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently.
• Communicate key updates during shift changes.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies, and report issues as needed.
