About The Position

At Great Wolf, the Food & Beverage Attendant creates positive guest interactions while taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner at quick-service restaurants and food outlets throughout the lodge. The role may also assist in other food outlets as needed.

The position is hiring immediately and offers full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Pay is $16.00 per hour plus tips; tips vary by shift and location and are not guaranteed. Recent reported averages for this position have ranged from $2 to $4 per hour.

Requirements

• Some high school education or equivalent.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language safety, operations, and procedure manuals.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service.
• Prior experience using restaurant equipment and following sanitation standards.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize varied tasks with minimal direction.
• Previous experience with cash transactions and point-of-sale systems.
• Proven teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with guests to take food and beverage orders.
• Prepares customer food and beverage orders.
• Provides outstanding customer service and engages in suggestive selling.
• Maintains equipment, performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots breakdowns, and/or calls for repairs.
• Assists with merchandising, including displays and store design, receiving and stocking inventory, and pricing merchandise.
• Performs cash-handling functions, including using point-of-sale systems and registers and completing daily reporting.
• Ensures food and beverage outlets meet high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
• Ensures daily retail outlet operations follow operating procedure guidelines.
• Assists in other food outlets as needed.
