Floating Leasing Agent (part-time)

About The Position

The Tipton Group is hiring a part-time Floating Leasing Agent in Dallas, Texas. The role serves as a welcoming point of contact for prospective and current residents, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process and supporting customer service, occupancy, and resident retention goals. The agent works with the property management team and uses OneSite to maintain prospect and resident information. The schedule requires availability Monday through Friday and the ability to work weekends. Employment screening includes drug testing and background checks.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of apartment leasing experience.
Working knowledge of OneSite property management software.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Sales orientation and strong follow-up skills.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Professional, dependable, and team-focused.
Ability to work in a fast-paced property management environment.
Availability Monday through Friday and ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective and current residents in a friendly and professional manner.
Conduct apartment and community tours for prospective residents.
Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, online leads, and in person.
Follow up daily with prospective residents and assist them throughout the leasing process.
Build rapport with prospects and help convert leads into new residents.
Provide information about apartment availability, pricing, amenities, and community features.
Prepare leasing documents, applications, and other required paperwork.
Collect applicable deposits, fees, and payments.
Maintain accurate prospect and resident information in OneSite.
Assist with resident questions and provide excellent customer service.
Work with the property management team to support occupancy and resident retention goals.
