About The Position
Fairfield Property Management is seeking a motivated Floating Leasing Agent to serve as the liaison between its management office and current and prospective residents. The role supports property marketing, resident screening, leasing, and a welcoming leasing-office environment, with a focus on customer service, organization, and maintaining high occupancy. The agent will float between four properties in the Shreveport-Bossier area and work every other Saturday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little guidance.
- Strong communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, and ability to learn other software as needed.
- Ability to write professional correspondence.
- Reliable transportation, a current and valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
- Weekend availability; the position requires work every other Saturday.
Nice To Haves
- Six months to one year of property management or face-to-face sales experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Show and lease apartments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and turn prospective-resident inquiries into scheduled community visits.
- Stay current on unit availability and waiting lists, and contact prospects.
- Maintain resident files accurately and with attention to detail.
- Provide excellent service to current and prospective residents to support a quality living experience and high occupancy.
