About The Position

The Tipton Group is seeking an outgoing, motivated, customer-focused part-time Floating Leasing Agent in Dallas, Texas. The Leasing Agent serves as a welcoming representative of the community and helps prospective residents find a home by providing tours, responding to inquiries, supporting applicants through the leasing process, and delivering excellent customer service. The role works with the property management team to support occupancy and resident retention goals. The schedule is Mondays through Fridays, with availability to work weekends. Pre-employment screening includes drug testing and background checks.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of apartment leasing experience.
Working knowledge of OneSite property management software.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Sales-oriented approach and strong follow-up skills.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Professional, dependable, and team-focused.
Ability to work in a fast-paced property management environment.
Availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective and current residents in a friendly and professional manner.
Conduct apartment and community tours with prospective residents.
Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, online leads, and in person.
Follow up daily with prospective residents and assist them throughout the leasing process.
Build rapport with prospects and help convert leads into new residents.
Provide information about apartment availability, pricing, amenities, and community features.
Prepare leasing documents, applications, and other required paperwork.
Collect applicable deposits, fees, and payments.
Maintain accurate prospect and resident information in OneSite.
Assist with resident questions and provide excellent customer service.
Work with the property management team to support occupancy and resident retention goals.
