About The Position

The Leasing Agent helps drive occupancy and the success of a residential community by attracting, engaging, and securing prospective residents. The role provides detailed information about the property, manages the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The Leasing Agent markets available units, conducts property tours, and builds relationships with current and prospective residents to support a positive community experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service; experience in real estate or property management is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including property management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Leasing Professional certification, such as NALP, or equivalent.
• Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
• Knowledge of local real estate laws and Fair Housing regulations.
• Bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage prospective residents, explaining available units, amenities, and community policies.
• Conduct property tours and highlight features of Legends of Lindale.
• Process rental applications, verify applicant information, and prepare lease agreements according to company standards and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, resident communications, and occupancy status using property management software.
• Collaborate with the property management team on marketing strategies to increase occupancy and resident retention.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and other relevant regulations throughout the leasing process.
