About The Position

HAPO Community Credit Union is seeking a Financial Center Teller in the Yakima area. The role serves members by assisting with general account inquiries, identifying products and services that may benefit them, and representing HAPO’s commitment to being present and exceeding expectations. The successful candidate is ambitious, self-motivated, attentive to detail, able to multitask and handle stressful situations, and has strong written and verbal communication skills. Training lasts approximately two weeks and takes place at HAPO’s headquarters in Richland, Washington.

The position is on-site in Yakima, Washington. The schedule requires 35–40 hours per week between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required. Starting pay is $20.00–$28.97 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications; selected candidates are typically hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work 35–40 hours a week between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required.

• Experience in customer service, cash handling, or sales.
