About The Position

HAPO Community Credit Union is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Financial Center Teller to serve members in the Tri-Cities area. The role focuses on providing attentive, individualized service consistent with HAPO’s “Be in the Moment” commitment and “Defy Expectations” service standard. The successful candidate will communicate effectively, multitask, use basic math, pay attention to detail, and handle stressful situations. The position is on-site and requires 35–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday within 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays. Starting hourly pay is $20.00–$28.97, depending on experience and qualifications; selected candidates are typically hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Experience in customer service, cash handling, or sales is preferred.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of math.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with general account inquiries.
• Identify additional products and services that may benefit members.
• Apply a basic understanding of branch compliance and auditing.
